Meets monthly on the 2nd Friday, 3:30-5:30 PM
Do you like to write fiction or non-fiction? Check out the Great River Writes – Winona Writers Group that meets every second Friday of the Month at the Winona Public Library.
Each month you will receive writing prompts to work on and bring to the next meeting. Don't like the prompts then make your own. Bring a page of your work, to be critiqued at the meeting.
April 10th - via Zoom (virtual meeting) - you need to REGISTER online to receive the video link
April Writing Prompts:
1. Write about being alone. Is it frightening? Disorienting? Lonely? Or is it tranquil? A time to regroup and reflect?
2. Though we are unable to meet physically, nature goes on. The sap rises. The trees bud. The mud squelches beneath our feet. Write about Spring and hope. What does Spring mean to you?“
