Monday, January 4th, through Friday, March 5th, 2021
Winona Public Library’s annual Hot Reads for Cold Nights adult winter reading program is back!
The program will run from January 4th to March 5th; all you will need to do is read or listen to five books (ebooks included) and record them in a reading log. A digital reading log is available online as well as a printable copy of the log; these logs can be found on the Library’s Website at winona.lib.mn.us. Printed logs will be available with the Library’s curbside pick-up services. After completing your first log, the library will contact you about picking up your free Hot Reads for Cold Nights coffee mug and a coupon for free small fries from McDonald’s.
At the end of the program, reading logs will be entered into a drawing for one of our many grand prizes. Grand prizes include eleven $5 Comet Cash to Erbert & Gerbert's, a $25 gift card to HyVee, twenty $5 gift cards to Kwik Trip, two $10 gift certificates to La Boutique, a $50 gift card to Midtown Foods, three $10 gift certificates to River City Grill, a $25 gift certificate to Sullivan's Supper Club, and a pair of Darn Tough Socks from Yarnology.
Must be 18 or older and have a Winona Public Library Card to participate in Hot Reads for Cold Nights. Persons may reenter the grand prize drawing multiple times. Materials do not have to come from the library; just start reading!
The Winona Public Library would like to thank our sponsors for making Hot Reads for Cold Nights possible: Erbert & Gerbert's, The Friends of the Winona Public Library, HyVee, Kwik Trip (on Homer Rd), La Boutique, McDonald’s, Midtown Foods, River City Grill, Sullivan's Supper Club, and Yarnology.
