Name Storytime with Miss Tricia

Names given to us by our family carry special meaning. In this week's storytime, we're reading about a child named Alma who wants to know where each of her names came from.

Early literacy tip for caregivers: By age 4, children begin to recognize letters & the sounds they make. A great way to start learning letter sounds is to point to letters in your book that are in your child’s name. Then, you can find words that begin with that same letter to become familiar with the different sounds they can make.
