Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program

June 6th-August 13th

Join us for a summer of adventure that will help maintain and improve your reading skills!

Our free program rewards children and teens ages 0-18 for reading this summer. Starting June 6, visit Youth Services or go to our Summer Reading Prize Program webpage to register.

It’s easy: read what you want, where you want, when you want. Read a book, magazine, or screen; be read to by an adult; listen to audiobooks—it all counts! For every 100 minutes of completed reading, you'll earn a prize. You can earn up to 5 prizes. Prizes can be claimed at the Youth Services Desk starting June 27.

Besides prizes for reading, we've got a bunch of fun in-person and take-home programs this summer! Download the full Summer Reading Program Calendar of Events (PDF). Activities and dates are subject to change.  Registration is required for programs with an asterisk*. To register, visit each individual program page listed in the grid below or contact Youth Services.
