Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program: Dig Deeper!

Join the Winona Public Library Staff for a summer of adventure that will help maintain & improve your reading skills! Our free program rewards children and young adults who read daily on their own time.

Reader Zone – Reading Log Software

We are shifting away from paper logs this summer and are using a website called Reader Zone. It is very simple to use and includes a lot of great features, such as a reading timer and badges for each completed level. Caregivers can register more than one child on one account so the family can track together. Anything logged prior to June 8th does not count towards the program. Our unique summer reading code is c3f8f.

How to start using Reader Zone on your phone or tablet (mobile app instructions and tutorial)

If you do not have a tablet, you can still use this software. Simply visit ReaderZone.com and click “Sign Up.”

The program will still include 500 reading minutes for the summer. Prizes will be distributed at the end of the summer in a pick-up format rather than throughout the summer.
