Holiday Open House

The Winona Public Library is hosting its annual Holiday Open House on Thursday, December 1st. The open house will be an all-day event with cookies, warm beverages, a Santa letter-writing station for children, and a snowman ornament take-home craft for adults. The Winona Fiddlers will perform at the library from 4-4:30pm in the Library’s Central Exchange Room that afternoon.

Youth in Grades 5-12 are invited to register for a kit which includes materials to make hot cocoa spoons! View an example of this below. Once registered, you will be contacted regarding pickup instructions.

Drop by the library’s lobby for a take-home kit all about how sound waves work, including a craft! These are available while supplies last in the Library’s lobby beginning at 2 PM.

Make bright fireworks using paint and black paper! Drop in the Youth Department any time throughout the hour to craft with us.

New Year’s Eve Take-Home Kit

Drop by the library’s lobby to pick up a take-home kit with supplies to get you ready for New Year’s Eve: noisemaker, hat craft, homemade confetti poppers, and more! No registration required. These are available while supplies last.
