E.P.I.C. Youth at East Rec. Center

For ages 11-18
May 22-August 18
Monday, Wednesday, and some Fridays from 4:30-6:30pm @ ERC (210 Zumbro St.)

The E.P.I.C. (empowered, principled, imaginative, confident) Youth program uses mentoring,
enrichment, educational activities, and community-based support systems to provide tools and
skills that help empower youth to have a voice and to develop skills and gain knowledge to
advocate for themselves. Throughout this program, youth will write, record, and edit a podcast weekly.

East End Rec. Program: Make-It Mondays

There are a lot of great programs happening at the East End Rec. Center (210 Zumbro St) this summer! We’re partnering to spread the word about this free, engaging programming. No registration required but you must sign in with staff when you arrive.

Make-It Mondays (June 12-August 14, 4-5:30 PM): Stop by the ERC on Monday afternoons this summer for a new arts and crafts projects. Staff will lead participants in creating something new each week! Youth can stop by anytime during the program to create their work of art. Program is free and open to the public.

East End Rec. Program: Marvelous Monarchs at the Community Garden

There are a lot of great programs happening at the East End Rec. Center (210 Zumbro St) this summer! We’re partnering to spread the word about this free, engaging programming. No registration required but you must sign in with staff when you arrive.

Marvelous Monarchs at the Community Garden (June 13-August 15, Tuesdays from 3-3:45 PM): Join at the Community Garden, located behind the East Recreation Center on Tuesday afternoons to learn about Monarch butterflies. Together we will explore the lifecycle, from egg, to larva, to pupa and finally emerging butterfly. We will also explore the migration pattern, habitat needs, and much more! Program is free and open to the public.
