Cotter Elementary Art Exhibit

Cotter Elementary will have student artwork on display at the library throughout the month of April. Their work includes two and three-dimensional designs produced through a variety of techniques – painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, and cardboard construction.

On Tuesday, April 11th from 3-5PM, Art Teacher, Mrs. Jody Berhow, will host a reception, open to the public, in the Library’s Bell Art Room.

Lego Free Play

Drop by the library to build with the library’s Lego collection! Creativity is encouraged! This is a drop-in event, so come and go as you please until the program ends at 4 PM. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Laugh & Learn Family Education Hour

Join for a themed storytime with Library staff followed by caregiver education and child activities with Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE). Free bus tokens are available for this program.

Tecreation: Cubelets

Youth will be introduced to coding with Cubelets and then let loose to solve the project for the day! This is for ages 8-18. Registration required.

Tiny Art Take-Home Kit and Exhibit

Display your artistic talents in our Tiny Art Show! On Wednesday, April 12 beginning at 2 PM, we will place take-home kits in the Winona Public Library lobby that include a 3×3 canvas, acrylic paint, and a brush. These are available while supplies last.

Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, return it to the Library by Friday, April 28 to be part of the exhibit in the Youth Department! The exhibit will run from May 1-31.

  • Open to patrons under the age of 18 years old.
  • You may use your own paint and supplies if you’d like
  • Art pieces must be brought to the Library by April 28 to be included in the exhibit.
  • Art will be returned to artists after the art show.
beaded bracelets

Crafternoon: Beaded Bracelet

Drop by the Youth Services Department beginning at 3 PM on April 13 to make a stretchy beaded bracelet. We even have color changing beads! This is a drop-in event. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
