Early Explorers Take-Home Kit

Drop by the library’s lobby to pick up an animal-themed take-home kit designed especially for littles! The activities in this kit allow your child to be creative and to build their fine motor skills (the muscles in the hands and wrist, which are important for writing).

Tiny Art Take-Home Kit and Exhibit

Display your artistic talents in our Tiny Art Show! On Wednesday, April 12 beginning at 2 PM, we will place take-home kits in the Winona Public Library lobby that include a 3×3 canvas, acrylic paint, and a brush. These are available while supplies last.

Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, return it to the Library by Friday, April 28 to be part of the exhibit in the Youth Department! The exhibit will run from May 1-31.

  • Open to patrons under the age of 18 years old.
  • You may use your own paint and supplies if you’d like
  • Art pieces must be brought to the Library by May 5 to be included in the exhibit.
  • Art will be returned to artists after the art show.
