June 16: Fairy, Gnome and Toad Homes.
Build a cozy home that fairies, gnomes, or toads will want to live in. The items in your kit will create a lovely house, a bed, a flickering campfire & more! This project is made possible with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota for Library Legacy activities. Registration required.
July 7: Wind sock/chime take-home kit. Registration form.
July 18 at 2 PM: Leatherworking with Double Tree Leatherworks. Registration form.
Learn to create designs in leather by compressing the fibers using special tools to create a pattern that is your own style. Each student will get one leather shape to stamp that is theirs to keep. Class will be about 1 ½ hours. Round leather shape could be a coaster, ornament or magnet; you decide. Small round or diamond shape could be a key ring, bag charm, pendant or magnet; you decide. Cross shape can be turned into an ornament, bookmark, bag charm or magnet; you decide.
