Youth Author Visit: Dawn Quigley

Join us at the Library on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:30 PM for an afternoon with award-winning author, Dawn Quigley! This program is a great opportunity for elementary and middle-grade youth to meet a published author, hear about her process, and listen to some stories. All ages are welcome to attend. No registration required.

Dawn Quigley, Ph.D. and citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe, ND, is an award-winning author of the 2022 American Indian Youth Award Honor, Jo Jo Makoons: The Used-to-Be Best Friend. Some of her other books include Apple in the Middle, “Joey Reads the Sky” in Ancestor Approved: Intertribal Stories for KidsRed Bird Danced (forthcoming novel-in-verse), and Native American Heroes.
